Two orders of business:

1- Knee surgery is a thing that is happening after all! I'm taking a medical leave of absence for the J-term and will be spending the month of January at home, recuperating. As I think I mentioned last time, I work at a hotel doing laundry. I was supposed to have today off, but I got a call around 8am asking me to come in, and my day got progressively worse from there.
